I first picked up a camera in 1987. Six months, one course, and many rolls of film later, I was professional photographer. Those early days taught me that while lighting, composition and balance are important, they are nothing without passion and an eye for the story. My contemporary story-telling style has captured everything from celebrities behind the scenes at five star hotels to adventures on back country ski slopes. From the boardroom to the derrick floor, to the infield at the Calgary Stampede I have had the opportunity to photograph inspiring people, places and events.
